The Australian International School Bangkok (AISB) is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Early Years Teacher to join our team. About the Role

• Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with the Australian Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
• Foster children's academic, social, emotional, and physical development through intentional teaching and inquiry.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and well-organised learning environment that promotes independence, confidence, and curiosity.
• Monitor, assess, and document children's learning and development.
• Build positive partnerships with families through regular communication and reporting.
• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, specialist teachers, and support staff.
• Contribute positively to the wider school community through meetings, professional learning, and school events.
• Uphold AISB's commitment to child safeguarding, wellbeing, and high professional standards.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must have:

• A Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood/Primary) or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with an Early Years qualification.
• Current teacher registration or eligibility for teacher registration in their home country or Thailand.
• A minimum of two (2) years of full-time Early Years teaching experience.
• Native English proficiency from one of the following countries:

  • United Kingdom
  • United States
  • Canada
  • South Africa
• A strong understanding of play-based pedagogy and child development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence using technology to support teaching, assessment, and communication.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
