We are seeking highly motivated preschool teachers to bring this vision to life and improve the lives of Thai children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a deep passion for fostering self-esteem, holistic child development, and Executive Functions (EF) in young children through play-based learning. The school curriculum follows the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and the National Curriculum, blended with the HighScope approach. We are situated in a community mall and provide a small, friendly, and professional community atmosphere, with Continuing Professional Development for the teaching team, whom we value as the heart and soul of this vision.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver high-quality play-based learning experiences to develop skills according to the school curriculum.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and resources, striving for school-wide Continuing Professional Development.
- Attend to the children’s physical, social, and emotional needs as required.
- Establish and maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders.
- Ensure that the planning, observation, and assessment cycle is completed, reviewed, and appropriately communicated to the Head Teacher and parents.
- Provide written reports and informal dialogue to parents on their children’s development and progress.
- Be accountable to the Head Teacher for the conduct, management, and administration of class responsibilities, subject to school policy.
- Be a model of professionalism when interacting with the wider school community.
- Contribute to the provision of high-quality co-curricular activities.
- Work on weekdays from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (8.5 hours).
- Teaching hours may vary but shall not exceed 21 hours per week.
