Early Years EAL Teacher Bangkok

The Australian International School Bangkok is inviting applications for the position of English as an Additional Language (EAL) Teacher at our Soi 20 Campus, with a start date in August 2026. This is a full-time position with a school-year contract.

We offer a competitive salary of at least ฿60,000 per month.

As an EAL Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality English language support programs to Early Years students from PreK2 to Year 1. Your role will include providing small-group interventions, in-class support, and assisting students with speaking, listening, reading, and writing. You will collaborate with classroom teachers to differentiate curriculum content and track student language development. Regular communication with families regarding student progress is essential, as is fostering student wellbeing and successful integration into an English-speaking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver small-group EAL interventions and in-class support.
• Support students in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
• Collaborate with teachers to scaffold learning and differentiate the curriculum.
• Assess and track student language development.
• Communicate with families about student progress and support needs.
• Foster student wellbeing and confidence within a multicultural community.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.
• Recognised Teaching Qualification.
• TESOL/TEFL/EAL qualification (minimum 120-hour certification).
• Experience teaching EAL learners, ideally in an international or Australian Curriculum setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to inclusive and culturally responsive teaching practices.
