Early Years Cover Teacher

Heathfield International School Bangkok is seeking an experienced and inspirational Early Years (EY) Cover Teacher from February 2026 to June 2026. There may be an opportunity for a full-time position after this period.

About Us

Heathfield International School is a British international school located in the Saphan Sung area of Bangkok, close to Suvarnabhumi Airport. The school follows the National Curriculum for England in Key Stages 1–3 and uses Edexcel and Oxford AQA International examinations in Key Stages 4 & 5. HISB caters to students from Pre-Nursery to Year 13 and has moved towards a two-form entry in the primary section, with a vibrant community of parents, teachers, and students.

Contract

• Temporary contract: February 2026 to June 2026
• Possible full-time opportunity after this period
• Candidates must currently be situated in Thailand; overseas applications will not be considered
• The school reserves the right to appoint earlier if a suitable candidate is identified
• Interviews will be held in Bangkok or via Google Meet

Responsibilities

• Create a stimulating, positive, student-centered learning environment
• Deliver lessons to Early Years students and cover classes as required
• Maintain high standards of teaching and learning
• Support the school's ethos and work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and students

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (essential)
• B.Ed (Hons) with QTS or equivalent (desirable), such as PGCE or PGDE
• Up-to-date DBS or equivalent police check for working with children (mandatory)
• Experience with EAL learners is advantageous
