Computer Science Teacher

Valor International Scholars (VIS) in Anseong, Korea is searching for a Computer Science Teacher. The position reports to the STEM Department Head.

Responsibilities

• Teach subjects such as AP Cybersecurity, AP Computer Science, Engineering Design & Analysis, Maker Space Program, and extracurricular STEM and engineering programs to students in Grades 6-12.
• Work with both introductory and advanced learners.
• Create a Kingdom-minded educational environment where students can grow and reach their academic potential.
• Plan engaging lessons and use effective teaching methods, hands-on projects, and technology-based learning to enhance students' academic abilities.
• Teach coding, cybersecurity concepts, engineering design, robotics, prototyping, maker-space tools, and project-based STEM learning.
• Contribute to the development of VIS's computer science and engineering program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• Completed a teacher licensure program in an English-speaking country, or at least five years of teaching experience in the relevant subject area.
• Ability to integrate a Biblical worldview into teaching.
• Professional integrity and a positive role model for students.
