About the Role
This role includes teaching Computer Science across Key Stage 3, Cambridge IGCSE, and AS/A Level, with the opportunity to contribute to the development of cross-disciplinary pathways, including links with Business and digital innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching in Computer Science across KS3 to KS5
- Prepare students for Cambridge IGCSE and AS/A Level Computer Science assessments
- Develop engaging lessons covering programming, computational thinking, and digital systems
- Support students in applying computing skills to real-world and interdisciplinary contexts
- Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities, such as coding clubs and competitions
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and innovative learning environment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field
- Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE with QTS or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in an international school setting
- Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE and/or A-Level Computer Science
- Strong knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, or similar)
- Excellent command of English (native-level fluency preferred)
- Commitment to Values-based Education (VbE) and Enquiry-based Learning (EBL)
