Position Overview

  • Levels: Early Years | Primary | Secondary

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, age-appropriate, and meaningful Mandarin lessons
  • Inspire students’ confidence and enjoyment in learning Chinese
  • Support language development from beginner to more advanced levels
  • Create a positive, respectful, and nurturing classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute positively to school life
  • Participate in curriculum development and programme improvement
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chinese, Education, or a related field
  • Teaching qualification preferred
  • Experience in Early Years, Primary, and/or Secondary levels
  • Experience in curriculum development or curriculum creation is an advantage
  • IB curriculum experience is an advantage, particularly for Secondary level teaching
  • A warm, patient, and student-centred teaching approach
  • Strong communication skills and effective classroom management
