We are seeking a highly analytical, engaging, and dedicated Accounting Teacher to join our team at Omega Prep Tutoring School. This is not just a standard tutoring role; we are looking for an educational mentor who can demystify complex financial concepts and bring accounting principles to life for our students. You will have the opportunity to build foundational financial literacy, cultivate sharp problem-solving skills, and mentor students as they prepare for rigorous academic exams, specifically their Cambridge International AS & A Level Accounting exams, and future careers in business. We are moving entirely beyond standard curricula to provide an authentic preview of the college learning experience.

Core Responsibilities

• Facilitate deep, exploratory discussions that dissect complex accounting scenarios, corporate finance principles, and real-world business cases.
• Give direct real-time feedback on student financial calculations, analytical workings, and exam responses.
• Mentor students to build clarity of thought, confidence in expression, and the curiosity to meet new challenges.
• Act as an intellectual sounding board to help students conceptualize the practical applications of their A-level coursework for their future university studies.

The Ideal Candidate

• Possesses a distinguished background in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a closely aligned academic discipline.
• Deeply familiar with the Cambridge International AS and A Level Accounting syllabus, including both financial accounting and management accounting frameworks.
• Demonstrates an elite analytical capability, equipped to deliver sharp, immediate, and constructive critiques on complex mathematical calculations without hesitation.
• Exhibits a profoundly engaging presence that naturally draws highly intelligent students out of their shells and into debate.
• Already based full-time in Bangkok, Thailand.
• Excellent English writing and communication skills.
