Business English Teacher (Part-time)

CLN_新貴語文顧問股份有限公司 is seeking a part-time Business English teacher based in Taipei.

Job Description

• Design courses, syllabuses, and teaching materials for corporate training programs.
• Design courses, syllabuses, and teaching materials in accordance with guidelines from the Division of Talent Training at CLN.
• Provide customized programs and consultations (e.g., programs for celebrity students; themed courses for company senior executives).
• Participate in company meetings to develop, plan, and design teaching programs and activities.
• Provide assistance in offline activities (e.g., media exposure events; in-house consultancy; lectures and workshops).
• Customer Relationship Management (CRM):
  • Build great learning experiences.
  • Conduct follow-up assessments on students’ learning outcomes.
  • Evaluate students' progress and provide guidance for improvement.
  • Plan courses based on students’ needs.

Minimum Qualifications

• Teaching experience: 5 years or more in group teaching.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree (or higher) in Language, Education, English and American Literature, IT, MBA, Banking, Finance, Human Resources, Journalism, etc.
• For foreign applicants, CLN can only consider those who hold a Gold Card, Alien Permanent Resident Certificate (APRC), or who have obtained an ARC through marriage.

Preferred Qualifications

• TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate (at least 120 hours).
• High scores on English tests such as TOEIC (950 or above) or TOEFL (110 or above) or other English certificates.

Personal Qualities

• Positive attitude and a passion for teaching; capable of managing timing and pace in the classroom; teaching with charisma to engage students.
• Competent in designing curriculum and teaching materials.
• Ability to build good working relationships with colleagues and follow CLN’s code of conduct and ethics.
• Practical workplace experience in banking, finance, human resources, public relations, communication, technology, law, medicine, etc., is highly preferred.
• CLN adopts a position ranking system for contracted teachers and provides orientations, evaluations, and reviews.

Remuneration

• Minimum hourly rate ranges from NTD 800 to 1,300.
• Transportation allowance is additional.
• Project bonuses are given depending on individual cases.
• Profit sharing is applied when CLN's clients renew the contract.
• The salary of teachers varies based on factors such as the case they are working on, their teaching abilities and skills, and their interview scores.
