Business Economics Accounting Teacher
About this position
IDEAL English is seeking a dedicated and energetic Business, Economics and Accounting Teacher to join its English Program at Praharuthai Convent School (Robrupasasakol) in central Bangkok.
Location: Central Bangkok (Near Queen Sirikit & Khlong Toei MRT)
Start Date: October / November 2026
Contract: 12-month renewable contract
About the Role & School
Our programs are student-centered, engaging, and supportive. You will work in a collaborative environment under the guidance of an experienced Head Teacher and Academic Coordinator.
Responsibilities
- Teach Business Studies, Economics, Accounting, and business project-based learning to secondary students.
- Workload: up to 20 teaching periods per week (50 minutes per period).
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (40 hours per week, including lesson planning, administrative duties, and school activities).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- TESOL, CELTA, or TEFL certification (minimum 120 hours with an in-class component).
- Native English speakers from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or Ireland.
- Non-native English speakers with a TOEIC score of 800+ or equivalent.
- South African applicants require a TOEIC score of 800+ per local visa requirements.
- Comfortable teaching Oxford AQA Business Studies, Economics, Accounting, and supervising integrated business projects.
- Currently residing in Thailand, or able to relocate promptly, and available to start in October or November 2026.
Salary & Benefits
- Probation salary (3 months): THB 43,000-45,000 per month.
- Post-probation salary: THB 45,000-47,000 per month.
- Performance-based end-of-contract bonus and annual performance increments.
