Bilingual Junior High CLIL Teacher

FuHwa Senior High School in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, is seeking passionate and qualified foreign teachers to join our bilingual junior high program. We are looking for educators interested in content-based teaching and innovative methodologies such as CLIL, CLT, and PBL.

Requirements

• Passport from a country where English is an official language, in accordance with Taiwan work permit regulations
• Neutral English accent preferred
• Experience in IB/IGCSE programs is a plus
• Background in STEM or content subjects is highly preferred, including:
• Physics, Chemistry, Biology
• Economics
• Computer Science / ICT
• Additional Mathematics
• Experience in international schools is an advantage
• Bachelor’s degree or above
• Must meet qualifications for Taiwan work permit application

Teaching Scope

• Bilingual junior high school program
• Content-based instruction, such as Science, Math, and English integration
• Lesson planning, assessment, and participation in meetings
• Application of CLIL, CLT, and PBL methodologies

Working Conditions

• Daytime teaching schedule
• Maximum 24 teaching hours per week
• Weekends off (Saturday & Sunday)
• No work on national holidays
• Paid break
