Bali Summer ESL Teacher

Study Bali International is looking for native English-speaking teachers from the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa to teach children and teenagers on study camps in Jimbaran, Bali, Indonesia. SBI offers two unique camp experiences that combine immersive English learning with outdoor activities, cultural experiences, and more.

Qualifications

• Native English speakers from the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa
• TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification and degree-level education
• 2+ years teaching experience (preferably with study camp experience)
• Experience teaching children and teenagers is required

• Flexible, hard-working, bubbly, and easy-going individuals who thrive in a team environment
• Able to coordinate and plan effectively with co-teachers and manage split English & STEAM education schedules
• Able to follow camp regulations and school policies, ensuring a safe, engaging, and supportive experience for students
• Committed, enthusiastic, and ready to work hard while maintaining a positive, fun attitude
• Teachers must be fully available for the 4-week camp schedule and able to commit to teamwork as part of the SBI team

Global English Camp lessons combine language input sessions with STEAM/project-based classes and include outings to exciting, educational locations.

Camp Opportunities Global English Family Camp (Mixed Nationality Kids)

• Dates: July 20 - August 14, 2026
• Ages: 4-15 years
• Location: Jimbaran, Bali
• Teacher Package: IDR 25,000,000 for 4 weeks (Minimum commitment is 4 weeks)
• Free accommodation (nearby 3-star hotel)
• Free meals (Monday-Friday: breakfast, lunch, dinner)
• Work visa included
• Flight not included

Teenager Camp (Italian Teenagers)

• Dates: 8-week deployments from end of June 2026 – end of August 2026 (deployments starting late June, July & running until late August 2026)
• Student Ages: 15-19 years
• Location: Jimbaran, Bali
• Description: ESL classroom teaching for students with language proficiency levels ranging from A2 to C1. All materials are pre-prepared and teachers deliver lessons by set PowerPoint presentations. The camp also includes additional activities outside the classroom which teachers are expected to join.
• Teacher Package: IDR 8,000,000 per 30-hour teaching and activity commitment (up to IDR 40,000,000 for 5 x 30-hour teaching components)
• Free accommodation (3-star hotel)

Additional teaching opportunities may be available during the summer at SBI's adult learning resort or on additional study camps outside of the dates stated above.
