About the Role
The Assistant to School Director will support academic operations and help ensure the smooth delivery of school programmes.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the school's curriculum and lesson plans.
- Assist in coordinating academic resources, teaching schedules, and school programmes to ensure the smooth delivery of educational activities.
- Enforce school policies.
- Model excellence in teaching and professional conduct.
- Assist in the recruitment and selection of teaching staff.
- Support the implementation of the school's academic policies and curriculum.
- Assist with peer observations and provide constructive feedback.
- Encourage continuous professional development within the teaching team.
- Promote employee engagement and collaboration across all departments.
- Coordinate substitute teaching arrangements and provide classroom cover when required.
- Plan and manage teaching timetables in accordance with curriculum and staffing requirements.
Requirements
- Located in or ready to relocate to Chiang Mai immediately.
- Available for an in-person interview.
- Native English speaker.
- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in a related field.
- Experience in a school or educational setting is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in curriculum development is an advantage.
