About the Role

The Assistant to School Director will support academic operations and help ensure the smooth delivery of school programmes.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the school's curriculum and lesson plans.
  • Assist in coordinating academic resources, teaching schedules, and school programmes to ensure the smooth delivery of educational activities.
  • Enforce school policies.
  • Model excellence in teaching and professional conduct.
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection of teaching staff.
  • Support the implementation of the school's academic policies and curriculum.
  • Assist with peer observations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Encourage continuous professional development within the teaching team.
  • Promote employee engagement and collaboration across all departments.
  • Coordinate substitute teaching arrangements and provide classroom cover when required.
  • Plan and manage teaching timetables in accordance with curriculum and staffing requirements.

Requirements

  • Located in or ready to relocate to Chiang Mai immediately.
  • Available for an in-person interview.
  • Native English speaker.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in a related field.
  • Experience in a school or educational setting is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in curriculum development is an advantage.
