Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and/or a related field
- Teaching license/certification from an accredited university or college
- Minimum 2 years of Middle/High School teaching experience
- Student-centered, flexible, and creative instruction
- Attentive to students’ social-emotional learning needs
- Commitment to collaborative planning
- Proficiency with educational, administrative, and communication technology
- Fluent in English with excellent writing skills
Responsibilities
- Plan and present lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Earth Science for the assigned grade levels
- Create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment
- Design and present effective, standards-based instructional units
- Provide constructive feedback to students, parents, and administration
- Deliver high-quality, student-centered instruction
- Evaluate and assess student performance and prepare professional-level reports according to the school reporting schedule
