Heart English School - Japan

Assistant Language Teachers for April 2009, JAPAN

Are you looking for a rewarding social experience working as a teacher in Japan? Would you like to try joining the Japanese Public School System? Follow Heart Corporation's simple steps to becoming an Assistant Language Teacher! No Japanese language or teaching experience are necessary, but are definitely a plus.

Heart School gives you a chance to become an essential asset within the Japanese Public School System. Since the 1980s, the Japanese Ministry of Education has called for native English speakers to come to Japan to become Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs). Through Heart, you can become an ALT and provide a vital part of the internationalization of Japanese youth and communities, while truly interacting with the community of the future: the children of Japan. Heart also offer lengthy vacations, (up to 10 weeks off per year) giving you a great chance to explore Japan, experience the culture, or to put your talents to other uses.

Heart School stands out among many other English school companies, who only hire teachers for the "Eikaiwa" or English Conversation School sector. These other companies usually only offer small class sizes with students ranging from pre-school children to retirees, and often times teachers must work long and arduous hours within rigid guidelines. These companies contrast with Heart Co.'s benefits, especially when comparing the extended vacations that Heart offers to the short annual vacations of the Eikaiwa schools.
Heart Co. is currently looking for energetic candidates who have enthusiasm for teaching to fill our positions, commencing April 2009. Available teaching locations are spread throughout the Kanto region (Ibaraki, Tochigi, Chiba, Saitama, and Gunma prefectures, and the Tokyo area), Tohoku region (Miyagi and Iwate) and Hokkaido.

In addition, Heart Corporation offers our teachers:
1) Proper Visa sponsorship from within Japan and abroad.

2) Permission to find additional work, within the specifications of your Visa.

3) Comprehensive training before starting in a school.

4) Company-arranged apartments. (Optional)

5) Possibility of using a company car.

6) An annual pay increase for every Semi-Full Time Employee who remains with the Company for 12 months

Requirements:
1) Native-level English usage
2) BA/BS degree/its equivalent or higher
