ESL Jobs!

ESL Teacher: NEVER send bank details, credit card info etc. to employers. Watch out for positions that sound "to good to be true". If you see a job that looks like a SCAM or have received emails from potential employers that seem "fishy". Please CONTACT US. We will research it for you and will post the info for all other ESL teachers.

Georgetown University Law Center - United States

Georgetown University Law Center is looking for an ESL specialist who will teach English to international lawyers in the Georgetown LL.M. (Master of Laws) programs. The specialist will teach daily classes in advanced ESL listening, speaking, writing, and reading and will provide regular out-of-classroom support to students.

The ESL specialist should have experience in curriculum and materials design for advanced ESL learners. Knowledge of ESL assessment and experience in computer-based second language instruction is desired.

Candidates should have an advanced degree in Applied Linguistics, Language Education, or another language-related field. Preference will be given to applicants who have taught ESL in a legal context. A J.D. degree is highly desirable but not required.

The initial appointment is for one year with a possible renewal for a second year with the approval of the Dean of the Graduate School. Salary commensurate with education and experience.

Please submit a current resume and a short cover letter that summarizes your relevant experience and explains your particular interest in working with international law students. Position open until filled.

Please submit cover letter and resume electronically to:
