The Kaghan Memorial School (KMS) offers free education of a high standard to destitute children in the Kaghan Valley, nestled in the Himalayas. This valley was one of the areas hit hardest by the earthquake, which dramatically exacerbated the prevailing extreme poverty in which its residents had been living for generations The Kaghan Memorial Trust is dedicated to giving the children of the Kaghan Valley a meaningful education that will help them build better futures for themselves, their families, and their communities.
KMT is looking for a Volunteer Programme Officer based at its Head Office in Islamabad. Working as part of the Head Office Team, the Volunteer Programme Officer will be responsible for:
• Preparation of proposals, presentations and documentation for donors;
• Organisation of various fundraising events for the Trust.
• With donors and child sponsors;
