About the Job

Open Positions: AP physics, AP biology, AP history and AP economics

Job Description: To provide a rigorous, fast-paced and inspiring instructional program that encourages all students to develop their academic potential

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

1. Prepare and deliver rigorous and well-planned lessons and show written evidence of preparation.
2. Apply best practices in teaching and classroom management.
3. Assign and grade class work, homework, assessments and assignments.
4. Use relevant technology to support instruction.
5. Maintain accurate and complete records of students’ progress and development.
6. Participate in school’s professional development and parent meetings.
7. Coach student extracurricular activities such as social activities, sporting activities, clubs and organizations as directed.
8. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in related fields
2. Teaching experience preferred, but not required
3. Demonstrated knowledge of subject matter
4. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
5. Creative, flexible and innovative team player
6. Strong organization, problem solving and analytical skills

Compensation/Benefits:

• Competitive salary (28-32K RMB/mth net of Chinese tax!) contingent upon relevant experience, degree status, certification, and other factors
