Our school is located at THE most stunning location in Taiwan: Puli township: right under the foot of Mt. He-Huan, and about 30 minute bus drive away from the one and only SUN-MOON LAKE. There are a total of 300 students on campus for our national program and 45 students for our international program. Juntou International School of Experimental Education is a private school founded by Fo Guang Shan Cultural and Education Foundation, a non-profit organization. The school is located near the most beautiful national park "Sun-Moon Lake" in the Nantou County of Taiwan, and is registered as a Cambridge International School (TW068). We are currently running Cambridge curriculum for grade 6 and above, and IBPYP framework for grade 5 and below. 【Compensation】

1. Salary 55,000~75,000 TWD Monthly (We offer 12-24 months contracts).

2. Sponsored Working Visa and Foreign Working Certificate (ARC Working Permit).

3. Airfare stipend upon contract completion.

4. Full healthcare insurance coverage including dental care.

5. Dormitory for teachers.

7. Meals are provided during weekdays with small costs.

【School Description】

1. School type: Private International School

2. Class size: 5-10 students per class (no more than 15)

3. Schedule: Monday-Friday

4. Age Groups: PYP (Year 1-5), Lower Secondary (Year 6-8), Upper Secondary (Year 9-12)

5. Teaching materials and curriculum provided.

6. Location: Puli, Taiwan

7. Availability: Immediate.

8. Teachers are responsible for 20 hours of teaching per week.

【Primary Responsibilities】

1. Teach students based on school requirements. (Cambridge Progression, Unit of Inquiry, etc)

2. Maintain high standards of lessons by providing sufficient materials, discussions, activities, etc. to students.

3. Prepare students for the standardized test requirements of the school.

4. Develop and enforce classroom rules.

5. Maintain 20 hours of teaching per week.

6. Participate in school activities and required meetings.

【Requirement】

1. Native English speaker with Bachelor's degree or above in related field of knowledge

2. At least 2 years of experience in teaching related field.

3. Native English speaker.

4. If applying for IB program, one must have at least 1 year of IB teaching experience and holds IB Cat 1 training certificate; if applying for Cambridge (middle school or upper school), one must have 1 year of Cambridge curriculum or UK curriculum teaching experience.
