Salary: approx USD 1,200

About the Job

Basic Offer:

1. salary of MVR 18,500 (approx USD 1,200)
2. accommodation

Key Job description:

1. ESL classes to kids & teens (3 - 15 years old)
2. full time contract  - 30 teaching hrs a week
3. Sun-Thu working week
4. placement in one of LLC branches (different islands)

Contract for 1 Academic Year (renewable):

1. Starting date: 7th August 2022
2. Ending date: 22nd June 2023

Requirements:

1. degree (BA/MA) in Teaching, English, ESL, TESOL or similar field (required for visa)
2. experience in ESL, ESOL or similar English classes
3. adaptability and easy-going personality
4. ability to follow materials and plan lessons
5. strong sense of community and empathy
6. creative and joyful personality

All positions involve teaching English (ESL) to variety of levels and competences. Most courses follow Cambridge ESOL examinations and prepare students to one of the international exams (YLE, Key, Preliminary, First, etc.).
