About the Job

We are looking for Online English teachers.

 

1. Institute Name: Online English Education in Gyeongsangbuk-do Education Research Institute (Directly under the Gyeongbuk Office of Education)

2. Location: Andong, Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea.

3. How to teach: teach English to 5~6 students online

4. Where to teach: Online English Center at our office in Andong

5. Term: 26th August 2022 ~ 25th August, 2023 (1 year period)

6. Working Hours:

- 12:00 PM ~ 9:00 PM (Semester program), 9:00am-6:00pm (Vacation Program).

- 40 hours a week (22 hours teaching and the rest preparing classes)

- An hour of class is about 30 to 40 minutes of online class

7. Working Days: Monday to Friday

8. Current Foreign Teachers: 9

9. Salary

- 2.1 million KRW~2.7 million KRW per month

- Payments are equivalent to the EPIK program

10. Housing: Studio room prepared

- a monthly housing stipend of 400,000 KRW will be provided

11. Health Insurance: Standard National Health Insurance

12. Requirements are equivalent to the EPIK program

- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline

13. Annual paid leave: 26 days (not interfering class days)

2+	□ Master's degree in any discipline, with Bachelor's in Education, English Language/Literature or Linguistics □ Master's degree in Education, English Language/Literature or Linguistics, with Bachelor's in any discipline □ 1 year full time teaching experience with on of the following" - Master's degree in any discipline - Teacher's/TEFL/TESOL/CELTA(100+ hours) Certificate - Bachelor's degree in Education, English Language/Literature or Linguistics □ Contract renewal as Level 2 within the same POE	2.3
