About the Job

Position Title: English Teacher
Reporting To: Head Teacher - Principal

Responsibilities:

  1. Professional classroom management
  2. Planning, preparing, and delivering lessons to a range of classes and age groups – in person and online
  3. Providing diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments
  4. Issuing and checking homework, and provide appropriate and timely feedback
  5. Maintaining proper records for attendance, progress, and development
  6. Taking part in curriculum development, including production of audio and visual resources
  7. Organizing and getting involved in social and cultural activities such as games, sports
  8. competitions, school parties, dinners, excursions, and social events
  9. Attending and contributing to training sessions
  10. Participating in marketing events
  11. Preparing documentation for inspection visits and other quality assurance exercisesa s needed
  12. Using a variety of delivery methods, which stimulate learning appropriate to varying
  13. student needs and demands of the syllabus
  14. Undertaking other duties commensurate with the post and which may reasonably be required by the Principal 

Required Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of a B.A. or B.Ed. in any subject
  2. A TEFL / CELTA Certificate
  3. Passport holders from UK, Ireland, US, Canada, New Zealand or Australia

  3. Self-motivated, ambitious, and actively seeks out challenges
  4. Willingness to learn new ways of teaching and follow our onsite experts
