We are fiercely passionate about education and want a like-minded professional to help us to continue to expand and keep those young minds expanding! Our school has unique facilities in Taiwan (a range of English classrooms including a Smartboard room, a tree house room and a STEAM building with maker rooms) and we provide students with opportunities to play (we have a huge outdoor space), develop their interests (we offer free classes in subjects as diverse as cooking, football and sculpting), develop responsibility for their own education (they manage their cram-school time and then can choose to visit our Persian themed library, coffee shop or climbing wall etc) and we focus on building English skills that can be used to create, communicate and expand horizons.

We have been open for 17 years, but in the past 5 years we've really hit our stride and have opened a dedicated English building with extremely attractive, modern classrooms and a STEAM building. We would love to find someone interested in helping us to continue moving forward, while also developing their own teaching skills. We have a diverse team of eleven 'international' teachers with over a century of combined teaching experience complimented by our excellent Taiwanese staff. The core of the business is elementary English, but we need good junior-high and high school Headway teachers, sports coaches, STEAM and coding teachers and/or those with multiple skills.

We're a Shane English franchise cram school sand won the Shane Taiwan national management award for 2019 and have grown into the biggest franchise Shane school in Taiwan and the largest English school in our county. We've done this through teamwork, professionalism and innovation. We firmly believe in the Shane ideals of English immersion and learning through play and yet we are also quite unique; our school has a football pitch, a 4-storey climbing wall, a Lego classroom, a full size table-football table, a STEAM building, English library, coffee shop and within the next year we hope to open even more spaces. Both our students and teachers have a chance to pursue whatever they're interested in, relax, have some fun and feel like their time has been well spent. A high teacher retention rate and when teachers do leave they are often furthering their teacher qualifications in pursuit of DELTAs or PGCEs.

We will hire the best candidate available, but we are trying to build a varied team of gender, ethnicity, nationality and culture - although we can only hire teachers eligible for a work visa (Taiwan requires foreign English teachers to be from an English-speaking country). We will provide you with a work visa while you are in your home country and then on entry to Taiwan we will process your resident visa. Our teaching team is made up of a mix of teachers who are CELTA/DELTA certified, have years of experience all over and those who started here (a few years ago). Strength lies in variety and if you can bring different skills, backgrounds or passions to our team then we would be extremely excited.
