In an increasingly globalized world, people are realizing just how important it is to learn English. Learning a new language is challenging, and can sometimes seem like a grueling chore. Children going to school each day may not always be enthused and motivated to study English. That’s where the ALT comes in! An ALT, or Assistant Language Teacher, is a native English speaker who works to encourage students that learning English can be fun and rewarding.

This is the perfect position for a first time teaching job, and even for a first time job in Japan! It can provide people with an excellent introduction to the world of teaching and includes the added benefit of allowing you to accrue international work experience. Do not feel deterred if you do not speak Japanese either! We are open to candidates with minimal Japanese skills, so long as they are enthusiastic, self-motivated and positive.

As an ALT, you will be able to work preferred closely with Japanese students and teachers. You will experience daily life in Japanese schools and interact with students in the classroom, the playground, and even during club activities.

We can even assist in arranging housing accommodations and rented cars if needed! This is a fantastic opportunity for foreigners who want to launch teaching careers in Japan but are unsure of where to begin. If you are able to come to Japan, have a college degree, and are a positive person with strong English abilities, we can take care of everything else!

Even if you have no prior experience teaching English, we will provide you with the training you need to succeed. We have a team of highly skilled and experienced staff members who can assist you in navigating your new career as a teacher.

Positions are available from elementary school up to high school, in various locations in

Ibaraki Prefecture.

We are able to hire many people at the start of the new school year in April, but also hire people to start immediately in some areas.
